Dr. Bassem Hemdan leads SEHA healthcare as currently Chief Executive Officer. He leads Seha healthcare a multilocation and multispecialty hospitals and clinics, across several cities in Cairo and Giza.

Prior to joining Seha healthcare Dr. Bassem Hemdan worked as Emergency physician between 2002- 2013. Later on he started his career in hospital management in United Arab Emirates, Oman , KSA. turning around and leading transformation for more than 6 hospitals between 2013-2021 at Burjeel Holding. Dr. Bassem was overseeing the listing of Response Plus medical services PJSC in 2021 as the director of operations.

Dr. Bassem Hamdan was graduated from Cairo university Medical school in 2002 obtained his MBBS excellent with honors , Did his MRCP UK in 2012. Dr.Bassem has completed executive management programs in strategy at Wharton School of the university of Pennsylvanian. Obtained Harvard certificate in healthcare quality, along with a certificate in innovation in healthcare.
